MINI GOLF IN AND AROUND CALGARY

There are several places to head out to enjoy a round of mini-golf in and around Calgary.

1. Winsport (C.O.P. Canada Olympic Park) – NW Calgary. A family favorite. There are some challenging holes as this course is built onto the side of the hill.  A beautiful spot tucked into the trees. 

Reservations are highly recommended. 

The course incorporates stairs and bridges which may be challenging for some individuals.

2. Stone Creek Adventure Golf – Country Hills Blvd (on the east side of Deerfoot at 999 Country Hills Blvd NE) – NE Calgary.  Another family favorite, it is also well treed.  A lot of water and vintage decor add to the atmosphere at this 18 hole course. Picnic tables and cafeteria style snacks.

There is also a driving range at this location.

3. Oasis – Pebble Beach located South of Calgary / Heritage Point/DeWinton.  This 18 hole course is challenging in that it has holes longer than 75 feet and greens wider than 26 feet. Waterfalls, fountains, and streams throughout the course add to the beauty and the challenge. 

Packages available for birthday parties, corporate events, groups, charitable fund raisers, team building sessions, etc.

4. GolfutureYYC Mini golf. (formerly Golf Canada, formerly RCGA) on the corner of Glenmore and Deerfoot Trail.

A fun little 9-hole course with twists, turns open all year round - it is outdoor, so weather permitting. 

This facility is a great place with a fantastic driving range (with tracers) food and beverages. And a 40,000 square foot practice putting green. 

A fun par 3 course is fantastic for beginners runs alongside the Bow River.

5. Lil Devil Golf Course in Chaparral Valley has a small 18 hole mini golf course - located by the Lil Devil Pro Shop. 

Picnic tables and snacks are available here. Reservations are not required. Check in at the Lil Devil Pro Shop.

A fantastic Par 3 Course and a putting green also at this location.  Blue Devil golf course, range and clubhouse also at this location.

6. Crystal Ridge Golf – Okotoks – Maxman’s Mini Golf (south of Calgary). This course is worth the drive just south of the city. Another family favorite. Located right beside the Crystal Ridge golf course, it is a beautiful spot with full grown trees and great water features.

Shakers Fun Centre Mini Golf – East of Calgary at 9900 Venture Ave SE. A short drive to the East of Calgary. This is a fun course with jumps over the water and holes with 2 different routes for the ball to take.  It is located beside the go-cart track, so expect some noise from the track – but you can take in a couple laps while you are out there and make it a day of fun. shakerscalgary.com

Target Greens – Located on the North East corner of Stoney Trail & Trans Canada Hwy 1851 84St NE – Sadly the last day was May 30th, 2016 – this course/driving range is no longer in operation.

APRIL 2024 CALGARY AND REGION REAL ESTATE MARKET REPORTS

Sales are still higher than usual for April. The increase in sales came from more affordable, high-density products. Sales in detached homes were the same as last year.

Inventory remains low. Consequently, prices continued to rise.

Lower-priced homes saw a 29% decline in supply, while higher-priced properties experienced growth in listings. This shift is attributed to high-interest rates, which are prompting demand for affordable homes and increasing listings for higher-priced ones.
