Park 96

A Private Backyard Like No Other

One of Parkland's most distinctive and beloved features is something you won't find in any other Calgary community: Park 96. Keith Construction signed over the property rights of Lot 96 on October 22, 1974 to the residents, and the Parkland Community Centre (Calgary) Ltd. was born, affectionately known ever since as Park 96. Park 96 is a parcel of land that was set aside and sold to the residents of Parkland by developer Keith Homes in 1975 to create a private gated recreational area exclusively for the residents of Parkland.

The closest shops are at Deer Valley Shopping Centre (everything from groceries, coffee to fitness), with quick access to a wider range of shops and restaurants via Macleod Trail and Deerfoot Trail.
