Lake Chaparral, Chaparral Ridge, Chaparral Ravine, and Chaparral Valley make up Chaparral.
Lake Chaparral is a man-made lake with two water falls. It is stocked each year with trout for fishing in the summer and ice-fishing in the winter. It has a beautiful sand beach. It is a great lake to swim in on hot summer days and skate during the winter months. Various non-motorized boats are available at the boathouse, even paddleboards. A pathway on the lake is zambonied during the winter as soon as the ice allows, as well as designated hockey/ringette areas and a leisure 'no-sticks' ice pad. A fun tobogan zone is also created on the hill.

The beach house is available for booking parties and many programs such as dance and yoga are available. Covered areas are available to reserve for picnic gatherings.
