Church Ranches is a community that started development in the 1990's on the Church family ranchlands. Located in the NW outer corner of Calgary, and is part of the Bearspaw community in Rocky View County. Church Ranch Homeowners Association.

Church Ranches is a community of 70 acres of private common lands and three lakes. (A fourth lake is private to residents whose lots are directly on the lake.) The lakes are stocked with trout for catch-and-release sport. They also feature docks, sand beaches and storage areas for non-motorized watercraft. The common lands have various trails that are accessible from different points in Church Ranches and a beach volleyball court. None of the common areas or lakes is open to the general public. Guests must be accompanied by a Church Ranches resident at all times.
