The Bridlewood Creek Wetland occupies about six hectares on the east side of the community, and rather than drain the wetlands and build over them, the developers modified and built them into the community's water management system. The result is a thriving urban sanctuary that residents actually live beside, not just pass by.

The boardwalk provides opportunities to view aquatic vegetation like Common Cattails and Bulrushes, along with the many species of invertebrates found in and around the marsh.
